Uncle Sam, of Quincy, Mass. who legally changed his name to the iconic figure made famous by artist James Montgomery Flagg, looks over a collection of Uncle Sam memorabilia being auctioned off by James D. Julia Inc. in Fairfield, Maine. Besides original artwork by Flagg, the auction also sold the original costume Flagg used for the Uncle Sam character.
